Keppel Club

A private club, but open to non-members, this 18-hole course on Singapore’s southern shoreline has lovely sea views and a rail system carrying golf bags from hole to hole. The clubhouse includes a gymnasium and aerobics studio, a spacious boardwalk, children’s play area, video games arcade and roof-top dining area. The history of the club dates back to 1904 when Admiral Keppel came to clear the island of pirates.

Marina Bay Golf Course

Singapore’s only public golf course is centrally located with lovely city views. At night, the course is floodlit allowing for evening rounds. There’s also a four-storey driving range.

A private club, but open to non-members on weekdays, with two 18-hole courses with great views of the Johor Straits facing Malaysia.

Sentosa Golf Club

Nestled on the south-eastern tip of Sentosa with sweeping views of the South China Sea and Singapore’s bustling port, Sentosa Golf Club offers two of the best courses in Asia, Tanjong and the more difficult Serapong. Open to non-members, but priority given to members.

Singapore Island Country Club

The oldest golf club in Singapore, it is members only (although memberships can be purchased from existing members looking to sell for a very hefty fee!) but you can play as a guest. Four 18-hole courses (Bukit, Sime, Island and New), a 9-hole ‘executive’ course and extensive practice facilities make this Singapore’s premium golfing location. Dining and entertaining facilities are also first-rate.

Seletar Country Club

An 18 hole course designed by Chris Pitman and set against the backdrop of the Lower Seletar Reservoir, the course is challenging from the back tees but not too overwhelming for the weekend golfer. There is also a driving range, and the club offers a host of other recreation facilities, including a gym, sailing, children’s entertainment areas and a billiards room, while there is also a range of bars and restaurants in the clubhouse. A members club but unaccompanied guests can also play.
