Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur knows how to throw a party, and is renowned for its New Year’s Eve firework display, set against the backdrop of the iconic Petronas Towers and best seen from KLCC Park.

After the fireworks, you’ll find that nearby Changkat Bukit Bintang is host to a wide number of pubs and bars to revel in the excitement and toast to 2019. If you’ve recently begun a new life in Malaysia, then there’s no better way to see in the New Year than to get involved in the celebrations in the capital.

Marina Bay in Singapore hosts a truly amazing fireworks display and NYE countdown, while the whole thing is free to attend! Most say the iconic roof terrace above the Marina Bay Sands Hotel is the best place in the city to ring in the New Year, hosting their annual Supernova Countdown and fireworks.

Alternatively, if you’d appreciate spending the night undercover, then there are plenty of bars or pubs with a view from which to enjoy the festivities.

The picturesque paradise has long been one of the first places on anyone’s travel list and offers an array of beach bars and clubs for revellers to enjoy on New Year’s Eve. Numerous parties are held to mark the occasion, with world-famous musicians and DJs often booked to perform.
